What’s with the crazy big pictures right?

Well, as a large format printmaker I was able to produce some huge photos of dad for his 80th birthday. There were six panels I believe, and I snuck into his home and placed them all around the living room (with balloons and streamers of course) while he was out. When he came home I was long gone, but when he turned on the lights he was surrounded by many versions of himself, all larger than life.

Anybody that knows Sol Silver knows he loves a party. When he turned 80, he had several parties. The family party included the giant panels with pictures from his life. The photo above of his daughter Abby, and Sol pretending to be surprised was simply an attempt to re-create the moment when Dad walked into his apartment and found my handiwork.
